staff all night to decide whether you pay or not. Go to some of the newer staff

Not a bad night last Thursday at Frosties, although it was a bit quiet
everywhere else because it was that one week where everyone is on the Gold Coast
for Schoolies. Frosties was pretty good. Metrik and the MC/DJs made it fun for
everyone. Great party atmosphere as you'd expect at this time of year, and this
week will be even bigger.

It was a very quiet night around the traps last Thursday, but Frosties was okay.
When I was a student, that Thursday was always that one that you could party
hard between assignments and exams, but students today study too hard, and now
have classes and assignments due on Fridays.
Anyhoo, it was a fair night. Lots of fun: wedgis competitions, giveaways, etc.
This week will be much bigger.

Unbelievable night at Frosties for the visit of Steve-O and the Jackass boys,
and the night's first birthday. It was jam packed and you just couldn't move.
Steve-O and the boys were there almost the whole of the night. They didn't get
too crazy themselves, but inspired others, particularly band members (Metrik),
to be tattooed, have nipples pierced, eat raw onions, drink tobasco sauce, and
do tobasco eye-drops - ouch! They seemed to think that we Aussies are sort of
mad.
All the photos are now up and online, except the one which was totally
innappropriate.

Jackass at Frost Bites was a great spot to be for Melbourne Alive Party 3
(despite a slight Email glitch). It has developed into a great night. Metrik and
the Jackass boys work well together, and the crowd just goes out to play! Dare
of the night: eating an onion raw!
More people finish exams by the day, so this will be beyond full strength next
week. Get in early. It is one of the most unique and entertaining nights out
there.

hey, just thought id write to say that i reckon frostbites is a great place. Not
only a great band and dj, but great drink prices and a good uni crowd, it was
great being up on stage drinking the slushy out of the jug, until we got
disqualified for skulling it oh well it was fun.

Another great jackass night @ Frosties. Big crowd, big fun. More and more people
are arriving after the cheaps drinks just for the band and the crowd, because
this night is one of Melbourne's great Thursdays now. The dares were: scul a
beer from a babies bottle wearing nappies, honey and feathering, and much more.

Frost Bites was huge last Thursday. Deanne Nissan (Inside Sport) made a huge
impact and had everyone talking. The dare of the week: probably turning the guy
into the incredible hulk. How do you hold a beer with those big green hands?
This week, ie tonight, I am fairly sure it is another stunner, as I think Jo
from Big Brother is there (will try to confirm later today).

For some reason I have had massive difficulty remembering to tell people that
Metrik have left The Depot on Thursdays and are now at Frost Bites every
Thursday. Metrik are generally regarded as the best young band around at the
moment.

Brilliant night at Frosties tonight 4 the MAX MOOSE 4˝ birthday party! We took
the place over. Scary... I recognised every second person from our photos pages.
It was, therefore, a very attractive crowd.
The dares tonight: Honey & feathering a bloke, "How far will you go?", and
sculling a pot of live worms against Fox FMs Hot 30 stuntman, S#!†boy.
Mama Jugs and some of the other Hot 30 team were there running a charity raffle.
It was the best night out I've had for a while.

Tonight was probably the best Jackass Thursday so far. Solid crowd, and stuck
around much later than normal.
The wrestlers brought there own unique crowd, and were fairly funny, especially
the midgets. The bouncy boxing was very popular too. Great atmosphere. Plenty of
talent.
Tonight's stunts: Sculling beers from baby bottles in nappies, eating cat food,
eating laxettes, and picking the two ring-girls for the wrestling tomorrow. A
great and unique night. Check it out.

I get the feeling it was a bit flat around town tonight after a big week of
partying and Easter. However, Frost Bites was the pick of the night.
I love the fact that it is different to every other night out there. The dares
and challenges are very entertaining. Tonight they had someone eat worms,
another person had their nipple pierced, and the final contestants had a beer
scul, with a real eye that they collected from an abatoir during the day. Two of
the three contestants ate the eye! The nurse was a very good addition too 8-P~
If that's a bit juvenile for you, there is a band which includes Rob formerly
from Adam 12, pop/commercial DJ downstairs, RnB DJ upstairs, and lots of
Frostbites infamous slurpies at the bar. Check it out.

Finally something a little bit different! Jackass proved very entertaining with
the concept of getting people up on stage to take on dares for prizes. It took
me back to my uni days, because it was the sort of thing that we'd do for Green
Week or O-Week.
The night started with a guy who shall remain nameless streaking through the venue
giving away a tray of shooters. Scary, but funny at the same time.
It really held the crowd too, and many people, including me, will be heading
back because it was very fresh and entertaining. It was about time someone came
up with a different concept!

Frosties was in good shape on Thursday. Slightly older crowd than their Friday
or Saturday, but about as good, more after-office like, and likely to be very
busy in the lead up to Christmas. Almost Famous were good fun too.

Rolled by Frosties pretty late on Oaks Day (ladies day). It was starting to
quieten down by the time we walked in, but it had obviously been a great night.
Very good type of crowd, more aged 25-30, and lots of ladies in their fashions
and hats.
Thursday at Frosties has developed a bit of a rep for being a good midweek night
for the 15-30s.
