Daniel, looking at the DJ lineup, the Thursday at Odeon has to be a promoters'
night. The promoters would set the covercharge rather than the venue and
promoters prefer busy venues. They wouldn't price themselves out of existence.
Its also a night that features the likes of Ken Walker and Peril as DJs. Those
guys are industry legends and people will pay to see them (if they love RnB).

WTF is with a $15 door charge on a quiet Thurs night. Now i know management
reserve the right to charge whatever they wish, but for F sake Odeon isnt worth
$15 even on a good night. I guess thats why Mercury next door offering free
entry was packed, becuase someone there actually knows a thing or two about mid
week uni student patrons who seriously dont want to pay $15 door charges.
