I received an invite to the Boutique Grand Prix After Party and so I called the
number for RSVP. The girl on the phone took my details and added myself +3 to
the guestlist, so we rock up there on Sunday night (dressed appropriately as
last time we were there they told us that a collar shirt was more appropriate,
but they still let us in as I had invites) and the doorman says that our
Boutique Grand Prix passes arent valid, I said that I had been added to
guestlist, he said yeah that should be fine then, goes to check the
list...nothing. The girl on the phone didnt add our names..so we didnt get in.
He said the evening was all over the place with owners/promoters etc letting
some in and not others. What is with this place? Why bother opening it to the
public and INVITE people to events there if you have such little chance of
getting in, even if you RSVP-ed. I wanted to hold a function there in May this
year but how could you when entry chances vary so much from week to week.
