Its a long time since it was Silvers! When Pulse was running at The Lion not that long ago, the place just buzzed. This looks like it will do the same.

Everyone’s talking about Spin and jumping on the guestlist. It is set to launch this Saturday.

They’re taking the things people love about Tuesday night in Hawthorn and Thursday around town, and putting it into a Saturday. It'll have the sort of crowd and tunes you expect at a uni night. Great idea for a Saturday.

Fourteen young local DJs doing house upstairs and James Maxwell and Tate Strauss playing top 40 dance, house and RnB downstairs. More info.

After 8 years at Odeon, Rhythmalism, Melbourne’s top RnB Thursday has moved to Fusion. By all reports, the move was a massive success. It should be. Fusion is an awesome venue and Rhythmalism is a great night. Info.

Ive been the last few weeks. The place has some serious potential. DJ TOBES
goes absolutely offtap. Crowd loves him. Not to sure what they are dong with
upstairs DJ early on. He has to learn how to mix before trying to DJ???

As far as clubs go today i'd say it's pretty similar to every other club. Crowd
was boring and a little pretentious the vibe was ok though, has plenty of
potential to be really good venue. Dj's were lame, everytime they changed over,
songs would be repeated 3 or sometimes 4 times wasn't till about 3 in the
morning when music picked up and the countless underage kids went home that
venue picked up and started to show what it could be.

Fair call Jo. I wasn't at the opening because I was away, but checking around
the place, its clear that the opening of Pulse was pretty enormous and the
subsequent couple of weeks have been impressive too. Seems like it is shaping up
as a very good night.

Okay? The launch was fantastic and brought me back the next couple of weeks
which were just as good. 'Great' would have been a better choice of words than

Donna you're a bit harsh. I went on the opening night too and thought it was
pretty good. If you've ever been to an opening night you'd know that a lot of
people do pop in for a look to see if its their style. The test is to see how
many stay. It was still pretty busy late which to me says people had a good time
and there were plenty of ladies. As you said the music was good and that's the
main thing. I'll be back next week.
