Pretentious??? On what planet? Have you ever been anywhere else? Tommy's is about the least pretentious place ever. I love the crowd, the music, the whole thing. That is why it is full of good genuine people every week.

The boys wanted an older crowd on Saturday night. I couldn't bring myself to go
to an official over 28s, so we went to Tom Thumbs instead.
Huge crowd. There was an enormous queue at 11. Packed inside.
The crowd was mainly 25-30. Plenty of people that used to go to places like the
Hallam.
Music was good if you like 90s, retro, and the odd current commercial track, as
I do.
The atmosphere was pretty good, but you have to be keen for an older crowd.
