We got the party started! Party season is in full swing until Christmas Eve.
However, the three weeks of Melbourne Alive finish tonight with a bang...
We’re back where it all began, our favourite Monday, Mad Monday @ Icon. For the
Melbourne Alive Grand Finale (not the Mad Monday finale - its kicking along)
we’re offering most of the mad drink specials from the now infamous keg party,
including: $2 Carlton Draught & VB pots, $5 basic spirits and $10 Midori
shakers, and if you mention this Email, guestlist entry price of $5.
To top it off, the theme for the week is the Schoolies Extension Party. That’s
right, students have been asking for extensions all year, so we’re extending
Schoolies Week by giving away over $200 worth of drinkcards to people dancing on
the bar to DJs playing all your favourite top 40 commercial dance, RnB & retro
tunes!
The last few weeks have been awesome. We’ve had the All Blacks, AFL guns, NBL
stars and cricket legends, but more importantly, thousands of Melbourne’s most
fun loving party animals!

Dakota, Club
Saturday at Dakota was mad! Couple a Melbourne Alive Party with a visit from the
Fat Pizza crew, and it was just chaos. The Fat Pizza boys (Pauly, Rocky & Habib)
were great fun. They signed everything, did lots of photos, spent ages hanging
out in the crowd, then jumped on stage for a jam with Pean. It was madness but
great.
The crowd was pretty decent too, in every respect. Very friendly! Great night!
Just wait for the photos. They'll be up soon, hopefully later today, and check
out the eyes on the girl in the purple and aqua top. Spectacular.

Brass
Last Friday at Brass was one out of the box. Granted it was a touch quiet, but
it was undoubtedly the best quality crowd in the place since the opening
weekend. Great ratio too! The new door policy is working beautifully. Get on
board.

This is a bit different. At the time of sending we know we’re doing a party with
our mates at Evolution Thursday, and we know the offer, but we forgot to confirm
the theme. Therefore, its a surprise party!
It’s gonna be a big one! ½ price beer, wine, champagne, basic spirits! If that
wasn’t enough, there’s also toss the boss all night long. Musical accompaniment
will be provided by Johnno Earle, Jack Newman, and friends. If you mention “Max

The boys will be there for you to meet, to sign autographs, join you in photos,

Great quality crowd at Star on Sunday, but they were a bit flat because they all
partied too hard on Saturday night. It was quiet around the traps, but those of
us that had the energy to party had a great night.

Twister
Absolutely massive crowd Saturday at Twister after the rugby final. Probably the
biggest I have ever seen there, and everyone was in a fantastic mood!
Great night. The DJs went off, and the crowd just wanted to party all night. One
of the best nights out ever.

Frost Bites
Jackass at Frost Bites was a great spot to be for Melbourne Alive Party 3
(despite a slight Email glitch). It has developed into a great night. Metrik and
the Jackass boys work well together, and the crowd just goes out to play! Dare
of the night: eating an onion raw!
More people finish exams by the day, so this will be beyond full strength next
week. Get in early. It is one of the most unique and entertaining nights out
there.

Wild Bills Saloon
Exams are almost over. Bills was big on Wednesday, but not quite end of exams
big. Just talking to people it seems that exams are a touch late this year.
Whatever. We had fun anyway. It was as good as full. Plenty of people who have
finished exams early were out and about, and in good moods. The warm day was
welcome.
As most people finish study in the next few days, you can be sure that Bills
will be massive for the next few weeks. Get on board.

Icon was brilliant on Monday for the Melbourne Alive Launch Keg Party. Easily
the biggest and best crowd I've seen out on a Monday (other than Cup Eve) since
Bobby's departed.
Great atmosphere, with dancing on the bar, the beer keg/champagne cards, general
cheap drinks, great party tunes, and really friendly people (including some of
the All Blacks and some Max Moose readers from the US and Germany!). This is my
new Monday!

Melbourne has more nightspots and venue capacity per head than any city
in the world! Melbourne offers almost every music style every night,
and it doesn’t shut down at 1am. We party hard!
However, we don’t have a recognised party season. Europe has Ibiza, Rio
has Mardi Gras and the US has Spring Break. The nearest Oz has is
Schoolies Week. It’s time to raise the bar(s).
MAX MOOSE is gathering our finest venues to bring you...
With exams finishing and the temperature rising, mid-November to
mid-December brings Melbourne’s world-class clubs to their peak. There
is no better party than Melbourne in November. It also MAX MOOSE’s 5th
birthday. It is altogether the perfect time for a party festival.
We are holding about 12 big parties with Melbourne’s premier nights over
the month. The parties will offer something spectacular, and on
non-party nights we will make recommendations. It will give you a good
reason to experience some different places.
It all begins with the launch party at Icon Bar Monday. The theme will
