Star (Bar), The
The best Sunday night in town, on one of the biggest Sunday nights of the year,
and a short walk from the GP track. Yeah, Star was enormous, and it was a
brilliant night out! Awesome atmosphere.
Huge queues from early in the night. DJs Brad and Rod were on fire, and
Slumberyard took it up a notch.
Very friendly crowd, one of my favourite spots from that point of view. Even
bumped into a couple of grid girls (good 2 c u again Brit!).

Not sure if this was a once off for the long weekend, but it sure was packed.
Huge crowd, and big queue.
Great night for the over 28s. DJ Craig Williams with a big retro set, Scat on
stage, and the Flashback 80s disco floor was popular.

Marquee Club
Huge night at Marquee. Big crowd in early, again not far from the track.
I rolled in about 3.30 and it was full both up and downstairs. Younger crowd
than their normal Saturday, and a great feeling about the place. However, they
did close downstairs too early (4.30ish - sorry Sam), because it was unbearably
packed upstairs until at least 5.15.
