Something new I hadn't seen at Star Bar before. Original bands performing live
at the Star Bar on Friday nights! They had Borne - a local Melbourne band -
there last week (not the biggest for crowds, but the band was amazing!) They
are there for three more weeks. Defiantly worth a look if you like your music
live!!!

Kick arse nite i had last friday, Urban Quest @ The Star Bar Hotel was really
happenin'... rnb/funk/old skool tunez spinnin the decks had the crowd burning
the floor til closing time - 3am. There are 'chill out' areas away from the
dancefloor - comfy couches and a couple of pool tables. Oh, and watch out for
the photographer roaming around the place! The crowd is pretty much the same
crowd you would encounter if you've been to The Studio @ The Royal Melbourne
Hotel (629 Bourke St, Melb) on a saturday night with an 18-24 age group. Check
