It was a bit quiet around the traps to give a place I hadn't been before a fair
run, but we felt like heading in to Matrix for a look.
Its a really nice venue. Similar to Amber Lounge in some respects, except its a
little more spread out, and a touch more relaxed. The bar and features are nice,
and I don't mind that checkerplate look.
The DJs were spinning a really fun, not quite old skool RnB set, and having a
ball doing it.
The crowd (including a foursome of baby giraffes (people who look like a baby
giraffe trying to stand up for the first time when they dance)) were getting
right into it. It was a very entertaining and down to Earth crowd, mixed in age.
I really didn't mind Matrix. It is a nice feeling venue. Will go back again.
