Excellent second week at Drink (I go to a lot of second weeks and I can't say
that about many of them). It was as good as full and the entertainment was
great. Keep in mind that its the best band and joint best DJ in Melbourne
according to party animal's choice award voters - ie you.
There's not many good Fridays around at the moment. This one has been good both
weeks so far. The pics are up, so take a look for yourself right now.

Just realised I hadn't posted a review of Friday @ Drink... It was huge. I
arrived at about 1am and the place was jam packed. Scotty E had the dancefloor
full and firing (great house set). The atmosphere was great.
Then Adam12 came on and brought it home. It was the most atmospheric band set
I've seen in ages.
The crowd was far more diverse than Wednesday (which was a genuine student
crowd). Friday was mostly aged 18-25, but there were a few 25-30s there. They
came from all over town. Tons of locals, heaps from the Edgy, a few from The
Wheelers, and plenty from Furnace.
I'm told Saturday was as big, but a touch older again.
Friday was a great night (as were the other nights). We've posted the Friday and
Wednesday pics now, so go take a look for yourself.

Checked out the southside opening on Friday. The staff were great and real
friendly. Scotty E rocked the place between sets and was awsum as usual. This
was hte first time i had seen Adam 12 in a while. Used to watch them every week
and was a HUGE fan. They were actually a little disappointing on Friday - 2 much
commercial stuff.
