Fridays r a great nite at the colonial hotel. But if your into Punk/Hardcore and
a bit of metal u should definately check it out on a thursday night. Its
insanely fun.

Huge place, which really went off. Particularly the karaoke room upstairs,
where they had all my favourite songs for me to sing ('Ice Ice Baby', Blister In
The Sun). Best night out I've had in ages.

I am so happy that karaoke is on every Friday and Saturday at the Colonial! I
was there a couple of weeks ago for my best friend's 23rd. It was the first time
I did karaoke and definately not the last. I can't believe they have stuff like
Sir Mix A Lot!! (I LIKE BIG BUTS!!!) I can't wait to go back, I would recommend
it to anyone as a good night out.

On Fridays they have a retro night, with the most eclectic assortment of 70's,
80's & 90's tunes, and an impressive light show. Not only that but up stairs
they had Extreme Karaoke. I sung a few songs ('ice ice baby','gold' by spandau
ballet, 'bizzare love triangle' by new order, and 'better man' by pearl jam) and
I think the crowd loved me. Or maybe I was drunk and it just seemed that way.
Either way it was the most fun I've had in ages.
