MAX MOOSE Review:

Hollywood Zoo

-

Thursday, July 30, ‘98
I know a few groupies of this band, but must admit, I have only seen them once, and lots of free beer made that night a little cloudy. However, Hollywood Zoo are pretty good fun. They play a mix of current top 40, party classics, and a bit of grunge and alternative. This gives them broad appeal, and allows them to play bigger gigs.

They seemed pretty accurate on lyrics, but the sound, though close, was not perfect. They were also a little short on crowd involvement, although they did dedicate songs to people in the crowd.

Their broad mix was their strength, and they play plenty of happy music. This means you want to see them when you feel like listening to anything.
