Max Moose in its 10th year For the rest of 2008, we’re celebrating our tenth year online. There’ll be a big party in November. Our research suggests Max Moose is probably the longest running club info website on Earth! Did you know? Max Moose was the first club website in the world to do club photos. We had to scan photos - no digital cameras back then. Places that are running hot The Drink Fridays have been back to their best following their huge snow party & 2nd birthday. Loft Saturday is smashing all records. Its full every week from 11pm. Great night. (guestlist) If you like RnB, DysFunktional at The Loft Fridays and Groovalicious at The Watermark on Saturdays are definitely worth a look. Lockout: 3am now proposed? The Brumby Government is all over the place with the lockout. It now seems they will dump the 2am lockout but make it 3am statewide instead (more info). Neverland finally wins a license Neverland, Melbourne’s next superclub finally has a license (for 1500 people) after VCAT overturned Liquor Licensing (again). It should open in the next few weeks near the intersection of the Westgate Fwy & Montague St in South Melbourne (map). All reports say the place is awesome. Stay tuned. More info. New nights, venues, owners There's lots of new stuff going around... Glacier in Frankston is under new management, good friends of ours. Odeon is undergoing glitzy renovations. Will reopen October-ish. Infinity, a new trance night, launches Saturday at Queensbridge. Dakota launched Wobble Thursday tonight. The Attic in Subury has new owners. White Charlie opens in Prahran this Saturday.
